"The Wedding Singer," originally a movie starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, has now been made into a Broadway musical which will be playing at E.J. Thomas Oct. 23-24. "The Wedding Singer" is romantic, hilarious and musical all in one. The story is set is in Ridgefield, New Jersey in 1985.
Tomorrow, Oct. 21, is Love Your Body Day and to celebrate, L.I.P. Service, a student group which promotes gender equity and raises awareness for women's issues, will be having a special bake sale. Invented by N.O.W., the National Organization for Women, Love your Body Day is meant to bring attention to all body types and actively combat the extremely thin, unhealthy body ideal that the media and fashion world promote.
